sitting at Panera,reading this, and looking at the pictures, surely took me down “memory lane” and brought tears streaming down my face. What a great legacy these 2 people have left us. Not only are these tears of joy for these two, but for the “metamorphosis” of YOU, Katie. God has given you much wisdom and perspective! I applaud and amen what you said at the end of your post. You can tell that Mr Frank enjoyed life and Miss Hazel, (what i called her) well, you cant say enough about her. A wonderful christian woman who LOVED her Lord, life, family and friends. She wanted ALL her family and friends to be saved and to know the Lord like she did. We have many great memories of her and she taught me many things. Yes, she was feisty and now, in Heaven, probably still is! The pictures of you, Riley, and her are beautiful. She sure loved you

What a wonderful gift from God and a treasure indeed!!! I say like your Mama said, “How has the time gone by so quickly?” Your mom and dad have done a great job raising you! I am PROUD of YOU and all your accomplishments. I am the MOST proud of your decision to say “Yes” to Jesus in your heart and life!!! Everything else hinges on that decision. I have heard and seen you stand for what is right in God’s eyes on different occasions and i know where that comes from. It is my constant prayer that ALL my grandchildren will be in the “sheep” pasture soon. You ARE a JOY and an inspiration to me. It was so good to talk to you on your birthday and hear about your friends coming over and what all ya’ll did! I LOVE YOU COLE Granna

Hello there, not sure where I found your blog, something to do with adoption. Yay for clean eating! I’m trying myself to eat clean, mainly Paleo with some dairy added in. Have you tried cooking with almond flour or coconut flour? There are so many options out there, I’m finding it just takes TIME. It’s all about being prepared. My latest favorite is using spaghetti squash and making “rice” out of cauliflower! Love your blog, we are hopefully going to start the adoption process within 6 months! I live in Alaska, and I really enjoyed reading about your community group, can’t remember exactly what it’s called. Good luck!

How good is the MyFitnessPal app?! I love it! I’m trying to be good to Katie, and finally listen to my body and the fact that me and gluten and dairy don’t really mix well. I’m sure it will last all of a month! You’ve inspired me to give quinoa a try though. xx
